T-Mobile UK has just lowered the Pulse Mini price to £19.99 from what we initially thought was a ridiculously low price already, £39.99. The entry level PAYG (Pay as You Go) smartphone that T-Mobile UK seems to not stop selling is now available at an even more attractive price.

Pulse Mini is available in the UK since Spring 2010 and is the main competitor for LG 's popular Optimus One smartphone.

Although the Pulse Mini won't have a chance when compared to other top tier smartphones such as the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc or LG Optimus 2X, it will get customers a taste of the Android experience.

The carrier also throws in free delivery with all online orders, as well as a 2GB microSD memory card.

Built by Chinese handset manufacturer Huawei, the Pulse Mini was launched on the market in May 2010, as one of the cheapest Android smartphones.

However, the phone had some bad luck, competing with the highly-acclaimed Optimus One, which was delivered with an updated Froyo platform on board, while the Pulse Mini only features Android 2.1 Eclair.

Also, the slightly smaller 2.8-inch TFT resistive touchscreen was another downside of the smartphone.

T-Mobile Pulse Mini sports a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash, geo-tagging and video recording capabilities. It also packs 300 MB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16GB).

When it comes to hardware, Pulse Mini and Optimus One have the same configuration, as they are both powered by the 600 MHz ARM 11 Qualcomm MSM7227 processor with Adreno 200 GPU.

The phone's 1150 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide up to 300 hours of standby time or up to 4 hours of talk time.

For what is worth, some of the 'top features' offered with the phone and mentioned on the carrier's website include 6 months free internet, worth £20, 100 free anytime UK minutes each month, GPS and “superfast internet”.
