14 DAY TRIAL // Pink and her husband decided to entertain themselves and their two-year-old daughter Willow with a motorcycle ride over the weekend. As you probably guessed from the headline, many thought taking a child with them was, as they put it, stupid.
Judging by the photos released on social media, Willow seemed to have a great time with her daddy on the motorcycle. Viewers back home begged to differ, stating that this kind of activities, and especially bikes, are way too dangerous for a two-year-old.
With the two photos, motorcycle driver Carey Hart included an Instagram caption reading, “Been waiting for this day for a very long time. Willz went for her 1st ride on my motorcycle around the pits today. She was pumped the whole time. When we stopped, she gave me a big hug and said it was fun, thank you Papa. That's my girl.”
After this, the backlash began, with many even saying that both Pink and Carey were horrible parents for even thinking this was a good idea.
Now, if you know Pink, you know she will never take this kind of abuse sitting down, so she too took to Twitter to give haters a piece of her mind.
“If any of u have more experience on a bike than my husband, then I will listen to your opinions on how he should take my daughter for a ride. “I can't promise I will care, but I will listen none the less,” she wrote on her page.
As she promised, she actually did listen to her followers so, when one of them told her that they would not like the idea of having such a small child on a bike, she replied, “Then I don't recommend it for your child.”
Naturally, not everyone believed that Willow's motorcycle ride was a wrong parenting decision, backing up the couple's decision and agreeing with Pink on that Willow was in excellent hands because there’s no better drive than Carey.
After blowing off some Steam on Twitter defending her husband, Pink decided to end the discussion with a joke, just like you would expect of her. “M'kay I'm gonna go now. Gotta figure out what wills is wearing tomorrow for her MANIACAL MOTO MANIA!!!!!! Gotta pack veggies too! Organic!,” she wrote.
