We've seen RIM's BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 in three color versions so far (black, black with red and black with silver). It seems that the fourth one will be pink and, apparently, it will first hit Canada, via the country's largest mobile operator, namely Rogers.

According to an image appeared over at Mobile in Canada, the pink Pearl 8220 will cost only 49.99 Canadian dollars (with a three-year contract agreement), which is quite a decent price. Unfortunately, until now, none of the versions is commercially available in the North American country, as Rogers' website still presents the 8220 as "coming soon."

In terms of features, BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 for Rogers will offer the following: quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE, Wi-Fi, Rogers Talkspot, BlackBerry Maps, a 2.4 inch TFT internal display with a QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels), an external and smaller screen, for quickly viewing incoming calls, messages and other similar info, a 3.5mm headset jack, Music player (supporting MP3, WMA and AAC+ files), Video player (DivX, XviD, WMV and 3GP), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, advanced email and Web capabilities, DataViz for viewing and editing documents, a 2 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording. The new Pearl also supports microSDHC cards, for up to 8GB of external memory.

When flipping the 8220, users will find a SureType QWERTY keyboard, similar to the one packed in the previously released Pearl smartphones, but way bigger – this should lead to a better texting experience.

The new BlackBerry clamshell weighs 102 grams and, when not open, it measures 101 x 50 x 17.5 millimeters. RIM has packed a 900 mAh Li-Ion battery into the smartphone, which, in theory, should be enough for a talk-time of up to 4 hours or a stand-by time of up to 336 hours.

Hopefully for Canadian users, Rogers will soon release the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 in all its four above-mentioned colors.
