Pink BlackBerry smartphones seem to be very popular lately, and this is the reason why Telus, the third largest Canadian mobile operator, is now offering the BlackBerry Curve 8330 in a new color version, which is, obviously, a pink one.

The new 8330 comes after another BlackBerry Curve turned pink for Canadian mobile users: the 8310, exclusively sold by Rogers Wireless.

Obviously, the pink Curve 8330 has exactly the same features as the grey one offered by Telus for some time now. Measuring 107.1 x 62.1 x 16.1 millimeters and weighing 114 grams, the pink smartphone brings about anything you would want from a RIM device.

The highlights of BlackBerry Curve 8330 are: a full QWERTY keyboard, trackball navigation, GPS to work with Telus Navigator, BlackBerry Maps, a 320 x 240 pixel TFT display, dual-band CDMA connectivity (800 / 1900 MHz) with 1x/EVDO, full HTML browser, advanced email capabilities, a pre-installed Facebook application that lets you easily access the Facebook website, Instant Messaging (Windows Live, Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk and BlackBerry Messenger), Music and Video player, a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, voice memo, USB and a 2 Megapixel Camera with flash and video recording.

BlackBerry Curve 8330 also comes with 96MB of internal memory, microSD card support and a battery that should last up to 4.3 hours in talk-time mode and up to 11 days in stand-by mode.

Telus is offering both the grey and the pink editions of BlackBerry Curve 8330 for the same prices: $549 free of contract, $499 with a 1-year contract, $449 with a 2-year contract and only $149 with a contract agreement for three years. It's worth mentioning that the 3-year contract price from Telus is lower than the one Rogers is asking for its pink 8310 - namely $199.
