Usually, aerobatics shows have the ability to keep spectators spellbound, but Chuck Aaron performs stunts that leave those watching dumbfounded.

Using the sky as stage, the professional pilot swirls and somersaults his aircraft in mid-air keeping viewers’ tension at high levels. He makes helicopters fly upside down, does barrel rolls, and all kinds of crazy aerobatic maneuvers that you never thought were possible.

Thanks to some modifications to his aircraft, Chuck is able to manipulate it as he wants, performing tricks that look really frightening, but paradoxically, are a pleasure to watch.

Aaron is the first civilian pilot ever to be licensed to perform aerobatics in a helicopter in United States. He got funding from Red Bull to build a customized, lightweight chopper that can handle stunts that are usually performed by military jets.

The pilot first flew a helicopter at the age of 20, but says he knew he would be a pilot ever since he started to have dreams of flying on a magic carpet. He now has over 20,000 flight hours and has performed at over 175 air shows across the United States.

Chuck also participated in several movie productions, such as The Rock and Shooter, and although he says those were great experiences, his opinion is that doing a movie isn’t as stressful as performing stunts in a helicopter.
