According to Mirror, a severed pig's head was placed in Jones' locker, in a plot that reminds me of the Godfather epic horse head scene.
Jones fought back and bashed the windshield on Glenn Whelan's vehicle, prompting an investigation by club officials.
It appears that the head made its way through several lockers at Stoke’s Clayton Wood complex.
It was originally placed in Matthew Etherington's locker, who wanted to take it to Whelan's, whom he dubbed responsible for the prank.
He didn't realize that the locker it ended up in didn't belong to Whelan, but to Jones, who did not find it funny at all.
