Strangely enough, the animal seems to be enjoying the experience

I am sure most people agree that rubbing noses is nothing if not a pleasant experience. Still, seeing one full-grown male lion enjoying a nose rub with a human seems to take things to a whole new level.

The picture above was taken at Lujan Zoo in Argentina, and oddly enough, it is neither the first nor the last of its kind.

This is because this zoo, which opened back in 1994, encourages such interactions between visitors and the wild animals living at this sanctuary.

Daily Mail reports that, although visitors to this zoo are allowed to come stunningly close to wild animals such as lions, tigers and bears, no attack has ever taken place.

Still, some might say that it is only a matter of time before one lion or one tiger has an epiphany and realizes that its rubbing noses with a human is not something its relatives in the wild would approve of.
