We all love foals, and teddy bears aren't all that bad either. I dare say this is why this picture showing a foal snuggling up to a teddy bear will most definitely put a smile on people's faces.

The foal in this picture does not have a mother. Sources say that is was found wondering about Dartmoor National Park in south Devon, England this past May 24.

At that time, the orphaned foul was only a few hours old and in pretty bad shape. Its rescuers say that it was both hungry and dehydrated.

The foul, now named Breeze, was taken at the Mare and Foal Sanctuary in Devon. Once there, it was given food, water and medication.

Since the foul was also in dire need of TLC, the staff at this sanctuary introduced it to the teddy bear, and the two hit it off right away.

“Sadly, little Breeze hasn’t got his mum around to keep him company. Although his carers here at the sanctuary work around the clock to look after him, it’s not quite the same.”

“As a result, we always give our orphaned foals a giant cuddly toy as a companion. They’re just like human babies in the way it provides them with comfort,” sanctuary Executive Director Syra Bowden explains.
