Still, these two squirrels are nothing if not determined to get this piece of fruit all to themselves. Or at least viciously fight for it.
The animals are African ground squirrels, Daily Mail explains.
Photographer Francois Loubser, 40, who took these pictures while visiting South Africa, says that one of the animals was busy gulping down the fruit when the other one showed up and tried to steal it.
By the looks of it, it was the thief who eventually got to feast on the fruit.
“Most people going to reserves wants to see the big five, I just love the interaction of the smaller less noticed animals,” Francois Loubser commented on his visits to South Africa.
