This is why some people might have some trouble when realizing that, as adorable as these creatures might be, their skeletons are one frightening sight.
Check out the picture below if you don't believe me. Just one look at it and you're guaranteed to feel the urge to take one step back when coming face to face with a sloth again.
Granted, it is highly unlikely that the skeletons of other animals look any better. Yet from where I stand, sloth ones really do take the lion's share when it comes to creeping people out.
Just for the record, sloths are mammals currently inhabiting the jungles of Central and South America.
They mostly feed on leaves and buds, yet some are known to occasionally gulp down insects, small reptiles or even birds.
