Many “divas” have to practice long and hard in front of a mirror before they finally manage to strike the perfect pose. The female polar bear pictured above, on the other hand, appears to be a natural.

The polar bear was caught on camera in the Svalbard archipelago by photographer Paul Goldstein, who traveled to the area to snap pictures of local wildlife.

“She spent a few minutes stretching and grooming which appeared very much like an early morning exercise class,” Paul Goldstein explains, as cited by HuffPost.

Funnily enough, it looks like the bear was not exercising just for the sake of staying fit. On the contrary, it had a very well pieced together agenda.

“This female was trying to pinch a seal kill from a larger male bear who, understandably was not giving up his spoils,” the photographer details.

Well, I guess chivalry really is dead.
