Polar bear cub are notorious goofballs, but the one featured in the video above really takes things to a whole new level.

Either it was thinking that some delicious seals were swimming at the bottom of the pool and wanted to catch them, or it was trying to take a bath and couldn't exactly figure out how to get into the pool.

Whatever was going on in its head, the resulting face-plants are by far some of the funniest things I've ever had the chance to witness.

Zoo Borns tells us that the polar bear cub is a female believed to be about 11 months old. It was rescued after being found wandering close to an airport in Manitoba, Canada, and brought to the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg, Canada.

Keepers say the polar bear is healthy and active, and quite enjoys playing and splashing around in the kiddie pool in its enclosure.

Since it is too young to survive on its own in the wild, the cub will probably remain at this facility.
