One of the animal's legs was shorter than the rest, the elephant had trouble walking

Footwear manufacturers who are truly committed to their work will rest at nothing to see their customers pleased and skipping around. Even if one of these customers happens to be an elephant.

Not to beat about the bush, the picture above has recently surfaced online, and people seem to have really taken a liking to it, not because of how fancy the shoe looks, but because of the story behind it.

Thus, it appears that this is the largest sneaker ever created by Nike. What makes it so very special is the fact that it was custom-made for an elephant with a limp.

Daily Mail says that the shoe allegedly belonged to a female elephant named Bandula. However, detailed information concerning her age and current location are lacking.

Sadly, the Nike PR representative who posted this picture on Twitter only captioned it as follows: “Biggest shoe Nike ever made was for an elephant that had one leg shorter than the others. Nike fitted him with lifts.”
