Just 6 states in the US are now completely snow-free

Only yesterday, I got to write about how the peculiar spring weather now experienced by people in Europe, Britain and North America can and should be attributed to global warming.

Those who still doubt that the seasons are pretty much changing would do best to have a look at the picture above.

The image shows how, despite March's coming to an end, almost half of the United States is still covered in snow, all thanks to recent blizzards and snowstorms.

According to Our Amazing Planet, only six American states are currently snow-free. These are Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Rhode Island.

As one can easily notice, a considerable portion of Canada is also hiding under a thick layer of snow.

The picture was made available to the general public by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in the United States on March 26.
