Unfortunately for the bear, the bee is anything but willing to sit still

I guess it is true that love knows no boundaries, be it time, place, or species and size. If you doubt my words, just have a look at the picture above and then try to argue against love's might.

According to The Telegraph, the picture was taken by photographer Terry Cervi from Buffalo, New York, at Buffalo Zoo.

Terry Cervi says that, as surprising as this may sound, the Kodiak bear featured in it was not exactly trying to give the bee a big, sloppy kiss. On the contrary, it was trying to chomp it, probably because the insect kept interrupting its beauty sleep.

Still, I have to say I like my version of the events better.

For those unaware, Kodiak bears live in the islands of the Kodiak Archipelago in South-Western Alaska. Apparently, they are the largest subspecies of brown bear.
