Towards the end of January, scientists caught a glimpse of a nebula whose appearance resembled that of a manatee.

Now, a professor at the Kitt Peak National Observatory has managed to snap a picture of a cosmic dust cloud that looks fairly similar to a flaming skull. One screaming at the top of its lungs, to be more precise.

Not much left to say, except that the outer space truly is amazing.

Daily Mail reports that the flaming skull-like nebula (pictured above) is estimated to be over 45,000 years old.

Its official name is Sh2-68, and it formed when a sun larger than the one our planet is orbiting died out.

Professor Travis A. Rector, who took this picture of the Sh2-68 nebula, explains that this cosmic dust cloud is presently journeying across the Milky Way.

Because of its odd appearance, some say that the nebula reminds them of Johnny Blaze, otherwise known as the Ghost Rider.
