14 DAY TRIAL // Thanks to this picture, the miracle of life just got a bit more miraculous. The picture shows one baby said to have been delivered while still in its amniotic sac.
The baby was born via cesarean section, and the Greek doctor who delivered it and snapped this picture of it says that this particular birth is one he'll probably never forget.
Dr. Tsigris maintains that, as weird as such deliveries might seem, babies born in their amniotic sac are perfectly safe.
As he puts it, babies only begin to breathe once the amniotic sac is broken, so they run absolutely no risks of drowning.
Dr. Tsigris also says that, since the baby was still nestled inside its amniotic sac, it was very much unaware of the fact that it had been born.
Since this is one really cool picture, I can only hope that it's not just a big hoax. Really, don't anyone dare ruin this for us.
