The Intel NM10 Express Chipset and the Intel Atom processor N2800 (1.8 GHz), or the N2600 (1.6 GHz) dual core, have come together in the PICO831 Pico-ITX SBC (single-board computer).

The idea was to offer something suitable for in-vehicle PCs, gaming, medical imaging, industrial automation systems, in-flight entertainment systems and portable devices.

To that end, 2-4 GB of RAM are available, as are four USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, VGA, 18/24-bit single channel LVDS, a full-size PCI Express mini card slot, a half-size PCI Express mini card slot, HD audio, and SATA-300 port.

On the software side of the equation, Windows 7 operating systems are supported.

Shipments will start in May 2013, for a price still unknown. For anyone interested in delving further, the product page has all the details.
