Should land this month

Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA is set to soon deliver to its users yet another highly-appealing handset, the HTC HD2, and now we can have a closer look at this mobile phone courtesy of live photos with it. The HD2 is one of the hottest devices launched on the market last year, and it is expected to arrive on T-Mobile's airwaves as soon as this month, while including a nice range of capabilities, coupled with enhanced hardware specifications.

The HTC HD2 comes with a massive 4.3-inch touchscreen display, coupled with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and with Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, over which its maker has thrown the already popular HTC Sense user experience. The phone caught a lot of attention when unveiled in October last year, yet the interest in it might not be as high as before at the moment, especially since Microsoft said that it wouldn't taste the new Windows Phone 7 OS, as previously expected.

Even so, the HD2 might still attract a lot of users on its side in the United States. T-Mobile is the first wireless carrier to launch the device on the market in the country, and it has already listed it under the coming soon section on its website. There are no details on when the device will actually land on T-Mobile's airwaves, though the latest rumors suggest March 24 is the lucky date, nor on the price tag it might come around with, but $199.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the carrier, or $449.99 unlocked, seem to be the best suppositions.

In case there are some of you who are not yet familiar with the specs of HTC HD2, we should mention some of the most important ones, such as the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity options, the built-in GPS receiver, the 5-megapixel photo snapper, or the microSD memory card slot, with a 16GB memory card included in the package. Until all the official details on the handset's launch will become available, you can have a look at the live photos with it, published on TmoNews, or head over to their website for the entire gallery.
