14 DAY TRIAL // The yet-unannounced HTC Mecha, which would supposedly arrive on the market as the Incredible HD, has started to emerge into the wild in various photos. To be more precise, parts of this device were photographed and brought to the Internet, and not the entire handset at once.
These photos emerged on various websites around the Internet, but, when put together, they hint at one and the same mobile phone.
Nothing is official on the matter, but there are great chances that we're actually looking at what should be the next flagship device from the Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation.
According to some of the previous rumors on this device, we should see it released on shelves at Verizon Wireless, providing the carrier's customers with a bunch of appealing features.
Moreover, rumor has it that this device would be set for an unveiling at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, and that it would be one of the first LTE-based handsets that would arrive at the carrier next year.
The photos show pieces of what seems to look a lot like the said HTC Mecha/Incredible HD, and there are great chances that the phone would indeed arrive on the market as rumored.
The specifications list of this device would also include Google's Android operating system, though no specific info on which iteration of the platform would be used emerged for the time being.
Considering the fact that some of the latest high-end Android mobile phones should arrive on shelves with the new Gingerbread flavor on board, we wouldn't be surprised if Incredible HD did the same.
As stated above, we should expect for Verizon to make an official announcement on this handset sometime during CES 2011. The carrier already promised that it would unveil various LTE devices that run Android.
