Photos of Gary Coleman dead and on the hospital bed are being shopped around to the media, says report

A short while ago, Gary Coleman, star of the ‘80s hit show “Diff’rent Strokes,” passed away after suffering brain hemorrhage and being taken off life support at his wife’s indications. The actor has not been buried yet because of a family dispute between his wife and his estranged parents, and photos of him on the hospital bed are already being shopped around, TMZ has learned.

Of course, this is not the first time that pictures of a dead celebrity emerge, as David Carradine and, before him, Anna Nicole Smith also got the same “treatment.” The photos of Coleman are just as unpleasant to look at as they are wrong, TMZ says. As of now, no one seems to know who may have taken them – and is therefore trying to cash in on them – but word is starting to circulate that it could have been his wife herself, for she is strapped for cash and in desperate need of it.

“TMZ has learned a series of photos of Gary Coleman in the hospital are being shopped around to the media – and in one of the photos... Gary is already dead. We’ve seen one of the photos and declined to even look at the rest. In the pic, Gary is in the hospital, his eyes are closed and he is hooked up to a ventilation machine. It is not a pleasant sight,” TMZ says. The paparazzi agency / celebrity gossip site may even know who’s selling the photos but, if it is, it’s not saying a thing.

“The person selling the photos claims to have four photos – the one we were shown was taken about an hour before he died. The final photo was taken after he was taken off life support. Asking price is in the low five figures. We’re guessing someone will buy it. It’s just the way it is,” the same media outlet continues by saying. Indeed, similar occurrences would seem to indicate that chances are high for the photos to make their way online.

Coleman passed away after suffering brain hemorrhage, presumably after taking a fall in his own home. In a matter of hours, he’d slipped into a coma, with doctors saying there was nothing more they could do for him. This is when his wife, who actually turned out to be his ex, as Coleman had divorced her shortly before this, decided to plug off the machines keeping him alive, a decision his parents are now calling foul.
