Let the private stay private

Privacy is one thing which some people just don't understand about mobile phones. Just because it's on the table, it does not mean that anybody can browse though it. PhotoLocker is just the application you needed in order to keep your private photos private and protect them.

Some mobile phones provide content protection by default, but not all of them do so for the images too. You may have your MMS messages protected, although it is rarely the case to see this for other personal content. The need for putting a password on the cellular comes as a natural result of the fact that people are starting to store an increasing quantity of personal data on their handsets. The more available space these devices come equipped with, the more information that unauthorized persons might browse through.

PhotoLocker works on the second edition of Series 60 smartphones coming from Nokia, such as Nokia 6630, 6680, N70, N90. These devices come packed with a considerable amount of storage space, which makes it highly possible to have some serious personal content to protect.

PhotoLocker supports images uploaded in three of the most frequently used formats: jpeg, gif and png. A password will be automatically set for all selected folders. The maximum size for each image is that of 500kb for the free account and of 2MB for the paid one.

Probably the greatest advantage about PhotoLocker is that it is a free software. It turns out to be a pretty basic concept, which also makes it easy to install. The premium version of this application brings more storage space, a larger monthly bandwidth and larger maximum image sizes. Moreover, the number of image galleries grows from 5 to 1000. The price for these extra features is a convenient one of USD 5.
