14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are royalty, in their mind. They consider themselves fashion icons and two of the most important public figures in the world, and Kanye is not afraid to occasionally say so. This makes today’s suggestion for Photo of the Day even more deliciously fun.
It’s hard to have fun at someone’s expense if they don’t take themselves too seriously, but the Internet is having zero problems where Kim and Kanye are concerned, especially when they insist dressing up the way they do.
The two are now in Paris, France, for Fashion Week, which means they’re doing their best to show the world just how serious they are about fashion – and particularly about their status as fashion “icons.”
So they decided to don matching cleavages at the Lanvin show, as you can see in the photo attached to this post. Kim wore a frilly leather skirt with an open tux that showed she had nothing underneath, while Kanye sported his usual leather jeggings + shirt combo.
However, as the video below proves, he didn’t rock the aforementioned cleavage when he walked in the venue. The funniest thing I read online today is that he must have unbuttoned a few buttons when he realized Kim would be stealing all his thunder – and we all know the size of Kanye’s ego, don’t we? The man practically gets a second jet for his ego whenever he travels by plane.
In all fairness, neither Kim nor Kanye’s outfit is that bad, though it’s definitely not as good as they must think it is. But the mere fact that it’s clear they take themselves so seriously and this ridiculous photo snapped of them in front row are putting a smile on many a face today.
