At least no one is pretending here to do it for charity

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is still a thing online but I doubt that many of the celebrities still doing it really have their heart in it and / or are truly doing it for charity. The photo attached to this article is both funny and honest, because at least it’s not pretending to be something it’s not.

The Challenge is meant to raise awareness and money for the ALS Association and works by having people who are nominated either douse themselves with a bucket of ice water or donate money to the organization, in 24 hours or less. Once that’s out of the way, they can nominate other people to do the same.

Some celebrities have been using it to bring attention to themselves because, if they really meant to be of any assistance, they would have done like Sir Patrick Stewart and just donate money, instead of making a fool of themselves on the Internet.

Fans of the HBO series “Game of Thrones” will probably recognize the photo attached to this post because it’s one of the most shocking and amazing scenes in season 1, when Viserys Targaryen interrupts a Dothraki celebration to remind Khal Drogo that he had promised him a crown. Talk about bad timing and impossible demands!

Before his sister Daenerys gets to prevent him from putting himself in such a situation, Drogo goes to him and pours melted gold over his head, the “crown” he had been promised. So yes, the Dothraki Ice Bucket Challenge is absolutely the mother of all Ice Bucket Challenges. Even if because it’s not done with ice.
