Tesco customers are not the only ones targeted with customer satisfaction survey scams. Experts have identified such a scam aimed at customers of the National Australia Bank (NAB).

Hoax Slayer has found bogus emails entitled “NAB Memeber Satisfaction Survey! 100$ Money Guaranteed!”

They read the following: “National Australia selected you to access our survey. We need you to complete an account update so we can unlock your account. To start, please open our website https://www.nab.com.au/survey/ and complete the form in order to receive your reward.”

The link doesn’t point to nab.com.au as it seems. Instead, it leads victims to a phishing website where they’re instructed to answer a few questions regarding NAB’s online banking.

Once the questions are answered, victims are asked to provide their names, contact details and other sensitive information, including Medicare number, driver’s license number, credit card number, CVV, expiration date, credit limit, NAB ID and OSID.

The submitted information ultimately ends up on a server controlled by the fraudsters. They can later use it for all sorts of malicious purposes.

If you’re a victim of this scam, contact NAB immediately.
