Two models will be released, one with LED and one without

Most people don't bother with standalone case fans, especially since most high-end models have their own, and can get more if customers ask the brand vendors for them.

Still, fan makers must be onto something if they continue to benefit from a steady stream of orders.

Phantecs is one of the companies that have recently made a move here.

It has launched the PH-F140SP_BK and PH-F140SP_BK_LED, which measure 140mm in diameter (each) and feature nine high pressure MVB blades and UFB bearing, with long lifespan and rotation stability.

The only difference between the newcomer is that the latter has four LEDS attached and the former doesn't.

An On/Off switch can toggle between the shine and the lack of one.

Sadly, pricing details were withheld from the official announcement. Retailers should list them soon though.
