The New Year is just around the corner, and some folks are probably already working on their resolutions. You know, that list of things to do for the first week of January.

Actors Peter Dinklage and Norman Reedus are asking that these people add one other thing to their list of resolutions for the coming year, and stick to this commitment: the promise to only buy products that are cruelty-free.

Together with Cruelty Free International, the two celebs hope that, in the not so distant future, a ban on animal testing will be instituted worldwide.

Until then, they urge that people no longer encourage this practice by shopping for products that display the Leaping Bunny logo.

“As Ambassador for Cruelty Free International, I ask that if you are going to make resolutions this year, please make two very important ones. One, to shop for cruelty-free products which feature the Leaping Bunny logo and two, join me and support the campaign to achieve a global ban on cosmetics testing on animals,” Peter Dinklage told his fans, as cited by Look to the Stars.

“New Year is an exciting period as we make resolutions and contemplate what the next twelve months will bring. Please make sure of one thing, however, and that is to make 2014 a compassionate one by only shopping for cruelty-free products which feature the Leaping Bunny logo. Please support Cruelty Free International and its global campaign to ban cosmetic tests on animals,” added Norman Reedus.
