Peter Andre announces collection of love songs will drop in time for Valentine’s Day

Peter Andre’s very personal and, according to many, accomplished comeback album “Revelation” is about to culminate in a sold out tour through the UK. Nevertheless, that is not to say that he’s putting all other projects aside, Andre announcing just a few hours ago on his Twitter page that he’ll have a love songs album out at the beginning of February, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

What with his divorce from fiery tempered and controlling former glamour model Katie Price, the ongoing custody battle and the very public spat with the same Price, not to mention promoting “Revelation” and his signature fragrance, one could hardly understand if Andre didn’t have time right now for a new record. As surprising as it may seem, not only does he have the time but he also promises the album will be worth the money once out in stores.

Granted, not all the tracks on it are new, which would explain why it took him only so little to put it together. “I am releasing my love album on February 1st just in time for Valentines Day. It’s got five soul classics and a compilation of love songs I’ve recorded over the last 15 years including an awesome duet with Brian McKnight,” the singer announced to his excited fans on his Twitter page.

Peter Andre also let his followers know that preparations for the tour are going just wonderfully, saying, “At dance rehearsals for tour. Sean Cheeseman is an amazing choreographer. Just been auditioning the band for my tour. These guys are awesome. And the dancers... Omg I’ve got some work to do. Sharp sharp sharp.” The tour kicks off on February 19, 2010, at The Venue in Clacton and, as per reports in the British media, fans are literally drawing blood to get their hands on the last tickets still available.

As we also reported over the past few months, Peter Andre and Katie Price (once known solely as Jordan) announced they were getting a divorce in 2009, citing irreconcilable differences. Amid speculation that both agreed to the separation as being the best way to get media attention for their separate projects, the two also got into a very bitter exchange of words that played out in the media over the course of these past months.
