Atlus has revealed additional information on the upcoming role-playing dungeon crawler Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, regarding both old and new special attacks and the multiple Personas all characters will be able to utilize.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is a crossover game that will feature characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4 games, and players will assist them in returning home from the parallel universe where they are transported after a mysterious event.

Players will be able to choose five out of the 20 available characters to assemble their parties, and different party compositions will end up offering different dialogue options, depending on who players opt to include.

Melee characters will go in the front row and ranged and support ones will find a safer home in the back row, and players will be able to choose a mix that offers different strengths and weaknesses depending on their desired approach.

Persona Q will also allow users to set sub-Personas for each of their characters, not just the protagonists, offering them more skills that would normally be unavailable to their main Personas and offering a much wider variety of tactical freedom.

Additionally, the "boost" feature will enhance attacks that hit enemy weaknesses, making any subsequent skill use cost 0 SP. Furthermore, having a character in boost mode can also enable the use of a follow-up attack, where another character joins in to offer assistance for defeating an enemy.

The All-Out Attacks from past Persona games will also be present in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, but with a slight difference, as having more characters in boost mode will increase the chances to deliver follow-up and all-out attacks, as Siliconera reports.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is currently scheduled for release on June 5, 2014, in Japan, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
