Last week, visitors to Budapest Zoo finally got the chance to have a close look at a Persian leopard cub born at this animal sanctuary little over two months ago, on June 10.

Apparently, the cub did not come out of his den on his own accord. On the contrary, if it were up to him, his public debut would've surely taken place much later.

Thus, zoo employees were the ones who caught him, presented him to the public and even gave him his first medical exam, Zoo Borns tells us.

One can only assume Dante was utterly clueless about what was happening with and around him.

However, he did not put up a fight, swallowed his pride and allowed his keepers to show him around. Odds are that, after a while, he started to enjoy being at the center of attention.

Presently, Persian leopards are considered to be an endangered species. Their natural habitats are the forests and meadows in Central Asia's Caucasus region.
