14 DAY TRIAL // Four years ago, the fans of the real time strategy genre first enjoyed the Perimeter universe and were left asking for more. Developers KD Vision Games have decided it is the right time to deliver a sequel and some episodic content, since that's the trend today. But we don't mind because Perimeter 2: New Earth promises to bring us a great story and an exciting game experience - something we have never seen before! All we can do now is hope they are right.
Perimeter 2 promises to be the perfect choice for RTS fans and progressive gamers all over the world, since it will bring back the territorial gameplay introduced in the original title, as well as the confrontation of the main elements. There will be a bunch of innovations, the only one made public by the developers being a terra-forming excavation method which will be used to search mysterious psy-crystals and other goodies hidden deep within the land. The title will also benefit from a RPG system and "unusual" story telling methods.
The game tries to tell us what happened after humanity was forced to leave the dying planet Earth and flee to the deadly worlds of the Psychosphere: the wise Spirits are searching for the new Earth but the fact that it seems to be a never-ending quest turns the Harkbacks faithless and wishing to go back to the Old Earth. However, the creation of the Empire makes everybody change his mind and marks the beginning of a new war for supremacy - a war for conquering a planet, your war. It won't be an easy task to achieve, but the developers promise it will be such a thrilling experience that you won't mind at all!
There is no official word on the release date of Perimeter 2: New Earth, but we truly hope it will happen sooner rather than later.
