14 DAY TRIAL // One of the recently announced Q-mount lenses from Pentax, the 08 Wide Zoom Lens, has just received some new details on the official Japanese page of the manufacturer.
It appears that the upcoming Q-mount lens weighs about 75g / 2.64oz and features 3 glass-molded aspherical elements in its construction. With a focal length of 3.8-5.9mm / 17.5-27mm (equivalent 35mm format), this lens will allow you to photograph vast landscape as well as detailed interiors with the utmost ease.
The body of the lens is made entirely from aluminum with an emphasis on a smooth, high-quality finishing. Moreover, a maximum aperture of f/3.7 to f/4.0 will allow you to take some great photos even in low light conditions.
We expect Pentax to release even more details regarding the other HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR lens very soon.
