Fred Donald Manning, a 58-year-old man living in Spanaway, Washington, was investigated by the FBI after he was suspected of pedophilia and distribution of child porn on the web. Today, he pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Tacoma to Shipment of Child Pornography according to a report published on the official website of the FBI. According to the same website, the man tried to obtain child porn from an undercover FBI agent who pretended to be a mother of twins. It seems like Donald Manning left a message on a webpage to find other pedophiles and requested them to contact him by email, the report reads.

After he posted the message, an undercover FBI agent contacted him, pretending to be a mother of 7-year-old twins. The pedophile requested naked imagery with the girls and even asked them to come in Washington to meet the twins. In addition, he told the FBI agent that he molested numerous girls and even sent some photos with a girl under 12 years old, the FBI added on the website.

"In email exchanges Manning described the various young girls he had molested and indicated he was still molesting children. Manning asked the person he thought was the mother of twins to send him naked pictures of the girls and suggested they travel to Washington State. On July 25, 2007, Manning sent the undercover agent an email with pictures of sexually explicit conduct with girls under the age of twelve," the report reads.

The man is now facing a sentence of five to ten years in prison for pedophilia. This is another clear sign that the Internet can be extremely dangerous for kids, especially when they are free to communicate with any person they meet on the web. Just like usual, the social networking websites, which are known for their popularity among the young users, are often visited by sex offenders and pedophiles looking to communicate with teenagers and request them all kinds of explicit content.
