The 2014 Grammys will see half of the Beatles perform on stage

This year's Grammy Awards are beginning to look better and better in terms of performances

After Daft Punk, Metallica and Stevie Wonder were announced to be playing on stage on the night of the event, now it's been revealed that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will be also performing together.

There was previously some speculation that the two would come together for a musical reunion at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York, but it now looks they've gone full Beatles on us and decided to play the Grammys.

The Beatles are lined up to received the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award. Meanwhile, McCartney has also been nominated for Best Music Film for the concert movie “Live Kisses” and the Best Rock Song for his collaboration with the surviving members of Nirvana, called “Cut Me Some Slack.”

The two legendary musicians were last seen playing together in 2010, when they celebrated Ringo Starr's 70th anniversary, at the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
