Alan Baghumian announced last night, February 11th, the immediate availability for download of the Parsix GNU/Linux 3.7r2 operating system.

Parsix GNU/Linux 3.7r2 is the second and most probably the last update for the Parsix GNU/Linux 3.7 (Raul) distribution.

This release incorporates all the security and bug fixes, as well as application updates, that were published as of February 10th, 2012.

"It is hard to believe that it has been seven years since we published our first public release. We have come a long way and hoping to be able to serve our user community as long as we can."

"Soon, we are starting to work on the next version of Parsix GNU/Linux which will be shipped with GNOME 3.x series and GNOME Shell extensions. Stay tuned." - said Alan Baghumian in the official announcement.

Existing users don't need to download this new ISO image, they can easily upgrade to it be simply updating their systems using APT.
