The watch is available on the market...but...

Now I declare this the most insanely expensive watch I have ever seen. The Parmigiani 370 Bugatti was the "Watch of the year" in 2006, which probably gives the manufacturers the nerve to attach such an insanely high price tag of a "mere" 280.000 bucks... What? Oh, my God? I don't even dare to think someone could actually spend that much on a watch.

I mean, come on, with the same amount of money you could actually feed a lot of poor people, or pay the external debt of some third world country. Apparently, the device was initially intended to be sold exclusively to the loaded buyers of the Bugatti Veyron super car, but Michel Parmigiani was "kind" enough to remove the limited edition tag, so that anyone could enjoy such a nice item. Anyone, except 99% of the world's population, including me, my family, and all the people I know.

For the sake of the art, there are some credits we should give to the impressive watch, such as the three years time the manufacturers needed to create it, not to mention the smooth but at the same time powerful technology it incorporates. Some critics might actually say it's a pretty undue and rare beauty, which is not necessarily false.

The watch uses a sort of transversal movement with a vertically oriented watch face, which allows an easier viewing while driving your car. Not just any car, a Bugatti one, of course, as it would be a blasphemy to wear it in a Mini.

However, with so much exclusive technology integrated in the device, I am a little bit surprised it needs to be wound about every ten days. This is done with the assistance of a small battery powered metal pen you have to insert into the straight bottom of your precious watch.

And that sounds pretty rudimentary. In my mind, I had quite a different picture of it, thinking this watch could magically turn into a hot tub, into a private jet or could open a wormhole to some parallel universe where a couple of mermen would massage me with hot vanilla....I lost it!

Still, I can't stop thinking just how many things you could actually buy with this money... buy, hey, nice watch you got there!
