When Sony put out the “Michael” album in 2010, there was a lot of speculation on whether the voice on it was Michael Jackson's or some impostor's. It would seem that the singer's own daughter, Paris, believes the latter.

TMZ reports that, shortly before the album came out, Paris took part in an online chat with friends, with each sharing their impressions on the new release.

Paris shocked everybody by saying that the voice on the album wasn't even Michael's and, as per the aforementioned celebrity e-zine, there's a recording of her saying it.

“The announcement was made during an online video chat with several friends in 2010, just before the 'Michael' album was released, which contains several previously unreleased tracks allegedly performed by Michael Jackson,” TMZ reports.

“Paris had made the announcement in the midst of rumors that MJ's parts on the 'Michael' album were REALLY performed by an MJ sound-alike named Jason Malachi, but both Jason and Sony denied the allegations,” says the e-zine.

Indeed, as more and more fans rallied up against Sony, it hired experts to prove that Michael had really sung on all the tracks.

They claimed that the only alterations done to his voice consisted in making the finished record more “polished.”

“During the video chat, Paris played one of the songs from the album, 'Hold My Hand' and one of her friends asks why the singer doesn't sound like MJ,” TMZ says.

Paris left no room for doubt as to what she made of the track.

“It's NOT him... the whole album isn't even him!! Go online... go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That's him!! I should know if it's him or not because he would sing to me all the time,” she reportedly said.

The recording is reportedly now being shopped around and various media outlets have shown interest in it, which means it's only a matter of time before it emerges online.

As we also informed you a while back, Michael's brother, Randy Jackson, also went on the record to say that Sony had faked the album because that wasn't Michael's voice on it.
