Paris Hilton really wants you to buy that she’s a pop star, and she’s probably thinking that her signing with Lil Wayne’s Cash Money Records and getting him to do a song with her will convince you. Her newest single, “Good Time,” has an official music video now.

I said yesterday that I find the song pure torture on the ears: it’s so bad that it’s not even good-bad. Even after several listens, I still find myself cringing, and I don’t think it’s going to get better anytime soon.

So, now, this awful song has a video and it’s perhaps the silliest and most horrible release made for this kind of money in years.

You can see it in full on YouTube, but *please note that discretion is recommended because it contains language and images that might offend.

Basically, Paris is having a “good time.” Yes, she “might be a little tipsy, but that’s ok” because you’re with her. Such vapid lyrics could only come with vapid imagery, of Paris lying by the pool in what must be a very uncomfortable bathing suit, Paris dancing, Paris “making love to the camera,” and Paris being the live version of a Barbie doll.

The video clearly cost a small fortune and you can tell, so it’s not its poor quality that is getting all the laughs now online, but rather the fact that, even after all this years, Paris is still acting as if it’s 2009 all over again.

As for Lil Wayne, I can’t even imagine what he was thinking to agree to do this.
