Paris Hilton is enjoying some success as a DJ and has even managed to score a Las Vegas residency, but it’s clear that her first love will always be recording pop music. Years after the release of her debut album, she’s getting ready to put out another studio material, this time on Lil Wayne’s record label.

She will be promoting it with a new single called “Come Alive,” for which she’s also been shooting a music video. Two teasers for it are embedded below, from Paris’ Instagram.

She doesn’t say when we’re to expect the full version to be out, but she reveals that shooting has wrapped. Whenever the video drops, at least now we know to expect lots of glitter, diamonds, a pink cloud, a unicorn and a rainbow, and countless outfit changes from the Hilton heiress.

As for the song, it’s not Paris’ worst.

“I wrote the song myself while I was in Miami a few months ago,” she told the Daily Mail in an interview the other day. “The lyrics come from my heart. I love writing love songs, they make me happy, they make me feel good, so I tend to focus on that.”

You can listen to a sample of the lyrics in the two teasers. I find it hilarious that Paris says they come “from the heart.”

In the aforementioned interview, she also said that her next single would be “High Off My Love,” which would get an equally “hot” video. Indeed, Paris Hilton is determined to make her second attempt at a pop career count.

Are you excited yet?
