Angelic Paris Hilton serenades potential love of her life in “Come Alive” music video

Paris Hilton was teasing fans on Instagram over the weekend with very short clips from her new music video, for the single “Come Alive.” We now have the full clip – and it’s perhaps even more saccharine than you might have imagined.

However, if you’re not a fan of Paris’ music, you might actually be surprised to find yourself not hating the song, or even mildly enjoying it, in the sense you “enjoy” something that you thought you’d hate but you actually find it bearable and – gasp! – far superior to other pop songs you’ve had the misfortune of listening to in recent weeks.

But we digress: Paris Hilton will for ever be about 10 years old, based on this video. She has forged this image of herself as a Barbie princess and she’s using it to the max, so the entire clip plays like a session with Paris playing dress-up.

We get the “romantic Paris” who swings on flower-covered swings and plays with unicorns, we get “space Paris” casually hanging out on a planet very close to the Moon, we get “angel Paris” being angelic, and even a Paris who hangs out on pink clouds, the works.

One thing is clear: Paris had fun at the shoot, as I imagine any woman, no matter her age, would have. Who doesn’t love to get all glammed up while “making love to the camera”? I can’t hate on her for the video.

As for the song, it’s decent, especially if compared to the songs that leaked this past year, also rumored to be on her new album. “Come Alive” might actually get some airplay, if she’s lucky.

The full album is expected to come out later this year, under Lil Wayne’s Cash Money Records.
