To avoid getting thrown out

Few are the things Paris Hilton did that surprised us. Ever since she became a constant fixture on the party circuit, as well as a permanent presence in the tabloid media, the heiress can hardly surprise anyone with her actions. Still, her latest “adventure” has managed to get our attention once more, as reports have it that she’s taken to hiding in restrooms to avoid being thrown out of parties she crashed.

The Golden Globes are, as we all know, not only reason to celebrate actors, but also the perfect opportunity for hundreds of pre- and post- parties. Paris’ acting career being in the gutter, as critics would say, she was invited to none such social gathering, thus was forced to crash one to get to mingle with the other stars. Her party of choice was, rumor has it, Creative Artist Agency’s big post-Golden Globes bash.

Once inside, sources tell the US media, Paris was at one point to go hide in the restroom because she had been spotted by CAA’s Kevin Huvane, who was roaring that security have the audacious heiress evacuated from the premises. “Kevin was outraged at her sense of entitlement, and he was adamant that she be removed. He was storming around, yelling ‘Who let her in? She is not invited, and somebody had better get her out of here immediately!’” one source told GateCrasher.

Almost on the spot, security guards, LAPD officers and the event organizers were all outside the door behind which Paris was hiding, the same source says, waiting for her to emerge to be able to kick her out. “Finally - a good 15 minutes later - she emerged looking red-faced and embarrassed,” the source continues, and she was escorted outside in plain view of all the other guests.

This is actually not the first time that people tell Paris, one way or the other, that she is not wanted. As a matter of fact, the heiress/socialite has a long rap sheet of bans, some of which include all Vanity Fair parties, Bungalow 8, the Gramercy Park Hotel’s Rose Bar, the Moscow Hyatt, and an Alexander McQueen’s store.
