Since we first heard that Pantech got themselves a Design Community, including a group of talented college students, the phone manufacturer has released phone after phone, each sporting a great design. Pantech has been working with the Design Community in order to provide phones with a trend-setting design, and here they are, doing exactly what they were aiming to do.

Now they have announced the launch of yet another innovative mobile phone, the IM-U710. What's so special about this phone? Well, first of all, it sports Pantech's award winning design, a clamshell form factor and a metal case.

But what distinguishes this mobile phone from others is the fact that it provides the world's first face-recognition mobile game. According to Pantech, the built-in camera traces the movement of the user's face to use for input instead of controllers. Therefore, users can have their real-time faces while playing games with the IM-U710.

Apart from that, the IM-U710 also features a 2 megapixel camera as well as a secondary VGA camera for video calling purposes, and therefore, 3G capabilities. Although no more information is provided, we can assume that the phone also includes other nice features, and hopefully, we'll soon find out more.

While the price is unknown, the phone will be probably available in Asia only, as usual, therefore people from any other part of the world will not be able to enjoy, yet again, any of Pantech's good-looking mobile phones.
