Windows Vista is the latest operating system provided by Microsoft, being one of the most important releases of the next year. Multiple companies tried to develop antiviruses and security solutions since the giant released the first community preview of Vista. The company also tried to improve the compatibility of the new operating system with several applications by releasing multiple tools to enhance the developing process of a new application.

Last week, Symantec announced that Norton 360, the latest security solution provided by the company, is now Vista compatible to ensure a powerful protection of these computers. Because Windows Vista is scheduled for the January 2006, Panda Software also released a Vista-compatible version of its security solution, Panda Antivirus.

"Panda Software has announced the compatibility of its product range with the new Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. It has created the "Windows Vista Information Center". From here, users will find information about the compatibility of Panda Software products with the new operating system. They will also be able to download beta versions and final versions of Panda Software products that support Windows Vista. Existing users of Panda Software's 2007 consumer range will automatically get the new versions compatible with Windows Vista free as soon as the final release versions are available," Panda said in a security advisory.

The developer sustains that Panda Antivirus is a security solution created especially for home users that are looking for a powerful solution with a minimal use of resources. Panda Software also created Panda ClientShield with TruPreventTM Technologies that is meant to offer an advanced protection of the system with spam filters and blocker for dialers, spyware or other hacker tools.
