It appears that Panasonic decided to do one of those massive product launches, meaning that, instead of one or two devices, it unleashed an entire collection of them upon the consumer base.

Panasonic is one of those companies known throughout the whole world for its various electronic inventions.

Still, like all IT players, it has a certain area where it excels, in this case that of high definition and Full HD displays, even 3D panels.

In fact, this expertise is clearly apparent in its newest series of HDTVs, namely the 2011 VIERA collection, as revealed by the most recent press release.

One of the top-grade models is the Panasonic TC-L42D30, a 42-inch TV with an IPS Alpha panel whose native resolution is of 1,080p and which has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will start selling in April, for $1,149.95.

There is also the Panasonic E3 series, with Full HD support and 60Hz refresh rates. Two of its members are the TC-L32E3 and TC-L37E3.

They measure 32-inches and 37-inches in diagonal, respectively, and will have prices of $699.95 and $799.95 when they become available, which should be soon.

Panasonic also mentioned the 42-inch TC-L42E3 and the 120Hz, 42-inch TC-L42E30 , their prices being of $949.95 and $1,099.95, respectively.

As for the 3D models (refresh rate of 240 Hz), they are two in number, bearing the names of TC-L37DT30 (37 inches) and TC-L32DT30 (32 inches). They will sell for $1,299.95 and $1,199.95, respectively, starting April.

Finally, the cheapest HDTV of the lot is the 19-inch TC-L19C30, which restricts itself to a 720p HD panel and a meager price of $249.95 (will sell in May).

Those that want more information, such as just which of the above support such features as Easy IPTV for CinemaNow, Netflix, Amazon VOD access, Hulu Plus or DLNA need only drop by the formal announcement.
