One of Panasonic’s recent offerings from the Toughbook line, the CF-LX3 has officially made its way into Singapore.

The device is not available in the country (via CNET) and sports pretty impressive specifications judging that it draws power from an Intel Core i5 vPro processor. It also offers the option of adding a built-in optical drive (in case some of you out there still want that) and runs Windows 8 out of the box.

Living up to its name, the Toughbook is drop resistant and can sustain a fall from a height of 76 cm / 30 inches. In terms of weight, the laptop is unexpectedly light at just 1.29 kg / 2.84 lbs (if you opt for a three-cell battery). However, if you choose the six-cell option, you’re going to have a 1.43 kg / 3.15 lbs device on your hands.

If you think this powerful 14-inch notebook is worthy of your attention, the product is available in Singapore for $1,962 / €1,415 from authorized re-sellers.
