It seems that a new patent was found by Japanese forum Egami, regarding five new prime lens designs filed by Nippon giant Panasonic.

The lenses included in this patent are as follows: Panasonic 25mm f/1.4, Panasonic 65mm f/1.8, Panasonic 100mm f/2, as well as two different designs for a Panasonic 43mm f/1.4 lens.

Judging from this patent, the upcoming lenses come with a wide aperture of f/1.4 to f/2 making them ideal for artistic portraits and low-light shooting sessions.

A Panasonic 25mm f/1.4 lens is already on the market, while not long ago a few pictures have been leaked regarding another lens from Panasonic, the Nocticron 42mm f/1.2.

The other three lenses surely sound interesting when it comes to their specs, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see whether Panasonic will make any official announcements regarding them. What do you think about these five new lenses?
