An entry-level Micro Four Thirds camera could be on the way

According to VR-Zone China, Taiwan's National Communications Commission (the Taiwanese certification authority that corresponds to the US FCC) let it slip that a new Panasonic Lumix camera was in the making.

The product could very well become the first entry-level Micro Four Thirds camera.

So far, Micro Four Thirds photo and video capture devices have stayed on the upper levels of the market.

The Lumix DMC-GF6, however, could actually sport a lower price, even if it doesn’t have the same high specs as its siblings.

Sadly, we cannot say what the product is or will be able to do, since the NCC filing had no details on that. All we know is that Wi-Fi will be part of the feature set, which means that there won't be any issue with sharing via social networks.
