With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, “Pan” is the perfect movie for your family to watch, as it takes you on a thrilling ride to revisit one of the most famous children's stories but re-imagined for modern times.

Warner Bros has just released the first trailer for the live-action adaptation of the tale of Peter Pan and it's every bit as exciting as you'd expect. Peter is an orphan boy living out his days in a dreary orphanage until he and his friends are kidnapped by Captain Blackbeard, played by an unrecognizable Hugh Jackman and taken to Neverland.

Once here, Peter, played by Levi Miller, meets up with a host of interesting characters like Tiger Lilly (Rooney Mara) and James Hook (Garrett Hedlund), the man who will eventually turn into Captain Hook. Amanda Seyfried appears to play Peter's mother and Cara Delevingne makes a short appearance as a mermaid.

The movie seems to be a reinterpretation of the classic tale which means you will be able to enjoy it like you were seeing it for the first time. You can thank director Joe Wright for the new spin on the movie and go see it in cinemas when it comes out in July 2015.
