14 DAY TRIAL // Palm's latest shiny smartphone, the Treo Pro, is now available for purchase in the US, at about one month since its first official presentation. As you may already know, Treo Pro is being sold only unlocked (for US mobile users, at least), as Palm has decided that, for starters, it will not release it via a specific carrier.
The smartphone retails at $549 – an adequate price for what it can offer. Thanks to the fact that it's unlocked, Palm Treo Pro can be used on basically any network from North America and from all over the world, as long as we're talking about a GSM/HSDPA one.
The features of Treo Pro include quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE, tri-band HSDPA connectivity (850 / 1900 / 2100 MHz), a 2.5-inch TFT touchscreen display with 320 x 320 pixels, internal GPS and Wi-Fi, a full QWERTY keypad, Outlook email, full HTML browser, a 3.5mm headset jack, Music and Video players, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, microUSB 2.0, a 2 Megapixel camera, and 100MB of internal memory expandable up to 8GB.
Since it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, Treo Pro also comes with Pocket Office, and is compatible with System Center Mobile Device Manager 2008.

Palm Treo Pro comes with a 2-year limited warranty for business customers and it can be bought from Palm's online store or via the company's retail partners (like Dell, PC Mall, PC Connection, Enterprise Mobile and CDW).
