Missed it? Palm Gandolf appears once again in a teasing manner although it reveals nothing more on the date people should expect it. The image is rather meant to remind everyone that such a smartphone really exists and that it's due to come in the near future.

The new leak of Palm Treo 800p Gandolf shows the device in its best looking form, with the white shiny case and translucent keypad. The fact that it is a QWERTY one makes it even more appealing for those who need solutions for entering a large amount of text in their handsets with the littlest efforts. The buttons are small and easy to handle, as well as highly fashionable.

Previous images of this smartphone showed it running Windows Mobile, although it could even come with Palm OS Garnet. The new information on this handset reveals the fact that its display is in fact a touchscreen, which places this device on the same start line with the most evolved mobile phones in the race for popularity.

Palm Treo 800p Gandolf has received its amount of appreciation until now, even with the few specifications and poor quality images related. Still, its small sizes, easy to handle keypad and touch sensitive display have all chances of making it quite successful. The slightly curved corners and high performance support have the highest chances of turning this device into a really appealing one.

Better or worse images of the Palm Treo 800p Gandolf have been springing out since the beginning of the summer. Some of them were only sketches, while others showed it in its full beauty. Still, Palm has yet to confirm it and even more to make an official announcement for the release of this device.

Palm Gandolf has high chances of arriving at Sprint in the future, although the carrier has made no statement in that way. Although Palm has said nothing on this, the handset has high chances of being out on the market in the fourth quarter of the year, which means that there are hopes for a soon release.
